GO Caribbean Calendar

This team of 5 couples will work with Pastor Hal, Christian Community Fellowship, to go into schools using movie evangelism. Pray that God will move on hearts and many students will follow Christ. Pray for the counselors and the churches that will follow up on all decisions.

October 17 - 24, 2009

Working with Supers Baptist Church was a very productive week. We changed our strategy to be more than just "sowing" and spent more time getting to know the people and sharing the Gospel with them. We saw two men in their thirty's make the decision to follow Christ. We were able to share the Gospel with several others as well. We had to leave the island knowing that some declined to follow Christ. We left a couple who are willing to seek to start a home group to learn more about the Bible. They are going to reach out to un-churched friends in an effort to lead them to follow Christ.

February 14 - 21, 2009

Community Christian Fellowship is a church group meeting under a tent. The team will go door-to-door helping the community to become aware of the church, hand out information about the church, and sowing the seed of the Gospel. Pray for the team that many people will be saved that week.

The movie "Facing the Giants" will be shown on Friday night. Pray for a harvest of souls.

Community Christian Fellowship meets under a tent in a community that does not have a church. Pastor Hal is bi-vocational and has a vision and a heart for reaching people for Christ. Pray for this group of Christians as they seek to serve the Lord.

February 7-14, 2009

Our plans for this week will be to work with People's Baptist Church in Gospel Saturation. We will work with Pastor Sam and church family going door-to-door. This church is a blessing to the community it serves. They will be in Revival Services Sunday - Wednesday of that week. We will show the movie "Facing the Giants" in an effort to reach lost people. We look forward to what God will do as we work along side them. Pray for Revival in Barbados!

2008 Gospel Saturation Mission Trips:

March 30 - April 4, 2008: Fact Finding Trip (See pictures)

We just returned from our fact finding trip to set up lodging, transportation, meals, and meet with an IMB Missionary and local pastors and members who will be assisting in GO Caribbean. We had a great experience making new friends and partners. We will begin our work September 6, 2008. Each team will leave the U.S. on Saturday and return on Saturday. Our first team will work with Emmanuel Baptist Church.

2008 GO Caribbean Projects

Team 1, September 6 - 13, 2008: Work With Emmanuel Baptist Church

This team of 6 people will work with Emmanuel Baptist Church. The church is located on the southwest part of the island. This is the largest Baptist church and the only church with a full-time pastor. They have about 100-150 attenders on Sunday morning.

This team will work with Pastor Sam and church family. They have recently renovated their worship center and it is beautiful.
